Augrabies Falls

South Africa is truly a country of splendour. This is particularly evident when the Orange River pushes 1.9-million litres of water a second over massive granite boulders at the Augrabies Falls. This picture was taken in February 2010. After travelling 1 100 kilometres to reach the falls, the late afternoon light did not disappoint.
